First Level Set Design course

The Set Design School endorses a training path which consolidates its solid, historical track record and at the same time now aims to integrate artistic research and production. The First level Course includes a study plan focused on historical-cultural and technical-artistic subjects designed to endorse the value of the project and artistic experimentation, the in-depth study of technological and descriptive tools, both contemporary and traditional, concerning the use and space management and the principles of  image representation. The Accademia will organize, in agreement with public and private organizations, the most appropriate internships and placements in order to forge specific professional skills and will go on to delineate specific training models for each course of study.

To be admitted to the First level Academic Diploma Course you must have a high school diploma or any other suitable qualification obtained abroad. The selection is made on the basis of an entrance exam made up of a general knowledge test, a graphic art test and an interview with the members of the Commission.

Future employment prospects

Graduates will acquire the necessary professional skills to work in the different areas of theatrical, cinema and television set design, installations and costumes for the world of show business.
