Department of Communication and Didactics of Art
Three year course
The Course is characterized by a theoretical approach with disciplines that weave perfectly between the areas of the history of art and the history of criticism, as well as aesthetics, phenomenology and anthropology, pedagogy, museum tutorials, cataloging archives. Set in the Brera environment, in contact with historical traditions as well as the artists, the course allows you to enhance your training by approaching artistic practices and new technologies through workshops, offering the opportunity to identify specific interests which can be explored then in the two year Visual Culture and curatorial Practices course.

Students must have a secondary school diploma or similar equivalent foreign qualification. The admission test is made up of a multiple choice test which includes 30% of general knowledge questions and 70% of specific history of art questions from ancient times to modern day.
