Post Graduate grants for Two year course or Five year course students (Scholarship holders only)

Those students enrolled in the last year (complying to the course prescribed time) of a Second Level Academic Diploma (Two year courses and Five year courses) deemed Eligible or Awardees of Scholarships in the same year, are entitled, upon request and after attaining a Two-year or Five year degree course to post-graduate grant of € 1,000 only under certain conditions:

• the academic career does not exceed a total of five years (or six years if they attained their First Level Academic Diploma abroad, the calculation must also include the years of enrollment in unfinished degree courses);

• the students attain the Second Level Academic Diploma in the prescribed course time, without any interruption between the First Level and the Second Level Academic course;

• the students have not already benefitted from the Postgraduate grant either in Italy or abroad.

• The students were deemed Eligible or Awardees in the scholarship application for their last current academic year.

The grant is not paid automatically and the application must be submitted within 30 days from the date of attaining the Second Level Diploma, failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the right (the form can be found at the bottom of the page).

All students who meet the aforementioned requirements will submit the application within the set times will receive the postgraduate grant of €1,000 (therefore the final mark is nor a criteria for awarding the grant).

WAYS AND MEANS OF CONSIGNING THE FILLED IN THE FORM:

  1. By email to (dirittoallostudio@accademiadibrera.milano.it) This is the only possible solution during the  COVID-19 closure period;
  2. By post (Ufficio Diritto allo Studio Request for postgraduate grants Via Fiori Oscuri 7, 20121 Milano
  3. By hand to the Office for the Right to University Education (Via Fiori Oscuri 7, on the ground floor) in public opening times (from Monday to Friday from 10.00 to 12.30)

Students must sign the form and attach a photocopy of a valid identification document (Passport, Identity card or EU driving Licence).

The Office will not be held responsible for any non payments if, during the health crisis the offices remain closed to the public and the student sends the request by post or tries to consign it by hand. At the same time, the Office will not be held responsible for any delays or loss of documentation sent by post.

No other ways or means for submitting the request are allowed, failure to submit the request results in the forfeiture of the postgraduate grant.

The payment of the postgraduate grant will be made to the bank account provided by the student as a scholarship holder in the last academic year. Payment will not be made before July following the last possible graduation session. It is necessary to wait 30 days from the date of the last graduation session of the academic year under evaluation, i.e the extraordinary February-April session of the last year of a Two year or Five year course (in the healthcare emergency period, the extraordinary session 2018-2019 will end in June 2020).
