ANY SPACE / OGNI SPAZIO

In lack of a physical space to set the usual Erasmus exhibition – normally organized at the deconsecrated church of S. Carpoforo – the digital catalogue is not just a choice, but also a need to find another space, beyond the physical space, where to show and share artworks created during the Erasmus cultural exchange.

Any space/Ogni luogo is firstly a dialogue and a communication space through the students’ works found elsewhere. Any space, included the virtual catalogue pages, is set up as an exchange, observation and dialogue possibility in the visual telling of the different artistic researches.

Beyond the physicality of the artwork and its space setting, the presented works create themselves a new space, by existing and being shown. Many of the researches presented in the catalogue are created while observing and being inspired by places, but also projecting settings, objects and materials with a specific attention to the position and the special setting.
